Quite underrated

I like the simplicity of this song - It's clean, nice to listen to. I don't really care if all the tunes is pretty overused, as well as the melody. It's really great to just turn this song on and doing something else in the meantime. I don't think 12 dl's really reflect on how good this song really is. I mean, they're better than mine, even though mine all have 100+ dl's.

Great work.

Wow

This is one of my favourite loops on NG. It's so dramatic and i get filled with emotion each time. It's kinda like, before the final battle of epic proportions that just gets stronger, and stronger... and stronger! Until it reaches climax.

It's just as good as the revisited peice, only softer and fits in a movie more IMO. Great workm and keep it up!

Great!

Don't worry about the beginning. I think it's good as it is. Infact, you shouldn't change it to anything else, since the way this song shifts from the start to the end could be described as... energizing, in a way.

This song can be used in a flash where people flee in panic and disorder, with the ten riders of the apocalypse chasing them. And halfway throughout the song, people around the main character would die in masses. And right at the end, he/she dies as well. Sorry, my mind got ahead of me. Great song, you should definalty keep at it.

Great review, thanks Frost. I like it when people get caried away like that, it proves its not just another song. lol

Hey!

Not bad. Not bad at all. I really enjoyed listening to this. It's a bit like cheshyre (Sean Hodges) songs for Madness Combat, except that this one is much faster.

Well, it is extremely fast. It sounds like it's higher than 200 bpm, is that so? Anyway, the mere pace of this song makes it ideal for a chase-kind of flash. The only thing missing in my oppinion is some heavier drums and a bit deeper bass. It's got a great synth tune though. Keep at it!

Xenogenocide responds:

I wish I had better samples :( and the bpm is 170 :P
Thanks for your honesty, I'll keep those things in mind :)

Hmm

Not very mystic, more like... jumping around whilst high on weed. Ish.

I believe you overrused the main melody a tad bit. And there was no shifting in the song, it was retty much the same song through the whole thing.

More diversity, that's what you need the most. But you can do better. I know you can.

Chao-Guy responds:

High on weed, lol, and how would YOU know that, hm? (X3)

Sorry about the notes, every other combo of instruments sounded bad. Diversity? Do you mean in instruments or theme? I can't help instruments as I only have FL6, and the only instruments I think that work are Osc 3x or somthing like that. As for diversity of theme, I like video game and suck at my own music.

Thanks for being honest! (although id have prefered a vote of 4 as opposed to overall...)

Keep it up!

lol

I laugh at how horrible this song is.

The beats are overrused, the tunes are mostly annying and the vocals doesn't even sync with the song itself. And even for a rap song, i can tell that you can't sing worth a dime.

Try American Idol. I believe they'll have the same oppinion as i do.

Excuse me

There seems to be something missing herre. I can't put my finger on it... Oh wait. DRUMS! I wonder where you hid them. Beacuse you see, i don't consider any song to belong the genre of trance if there is drums mising. Homework for you.

And there isn't much you did here anyway. The song sounds okay, but i can tell that you haven't shed any sweat whilst making this song. It basicly consists of 4 different tunes, all playing the same melody throughout the song.

Try harder. Experiment. Be bold when choosing your tunes. And most of all, good luck!

I tried adding drums, just whatever I did fit in too oddly or didn't fit at all, maybe I just don't have any good drum samples, but maybe I'll try again later.

Amazing

But let me get straight to the flaw of this song. It's too... sprite-ish. If you made it more like a DnB song, it probably would've recieved a download from me.

But apart from that, you have a created a magic box that emits fantastic tunes. Beacuse if there's something you can do, it's making music.

You should really go for this, and later maybe craete music inspired by yourself, rather than some game you just played. Then we can start throwing tens around us.

~ Frost

Nice!

I'm just going to make a stab in the dark and assume that PM2 is some sort of sprite game. Since i haven't played it myself, i can't make any real comparison.

But, i can still listen and give you my oppinion. Which is going to tell you that it's perfectly made. There is absolutely nothing wrong at all. The only thing that keeps this song from getting a ten is that i wouldn't listen to this song in my iPod, but not many songs do.

I'm just here to give you comfirmation, which you now have recieved. Keep up the amazing work!

Not that bad.

Though i got a bit annoyed at the piano thingie in the beginning. It felt very much out of place.

But the whole soothing section was of great satisfaction for me. You show great potential, and therefore my review shall remain short. You didn't do anything particularly bad, except for that piano.... whatever, so i can only complimate you on your good parts. Which is everything else.

Good luck on your continuing efforts of music composition.

I haven't failed - I've just found 10,000 ways that doesn't work
